I have watched the program … Choice for Life, and heard the testimony of some of his pupils. Without a doubt, Choices for Life is making a difference in men's lives. In an industry where everyone is trying to bring about rehabilitation, Choices for Life appears to be getting the job done … it is assuredly making a difference outside the walls in our communities.

The effects of this program were evident by the genuine testimony given by the men that have endeavored to commit to the program’s very namesake, Choices for Life. … I have seen many programs introduced into prison with a goal of rehabilitating, but few with an emphasis of accountability, ownership of one's choices and focus on future choice and acceptance. … I without hesitation endorse the Choices for Life program…

Men of various races, backgrounds, and heritages, all speak about the transformation they have undergone through the lessons learned from the ptorgram. They have learned to no longer be dependent on others or materials and in turn have learned the secret to existence is to give of themselves to others... Giving each one of them a compass to find their direction in life after wadering aimlessly without purpose.

Choices for Life taught me that I was living my life in a state of Existence - taking up space... It also introduced me to the concept of Life, making someone else's Existence more comfortable by doing what is necessary. I exist for one purpose and one purpose only: to facilitate Life!

My new life is very different from my old Existence. I no longer wait to be asked for help, I offer it to anyone who needs it, without expecting anything in return.

I've taken self-help groups for the past 25 years. [Choices for Life] was the most relevant, insightful group that I've ever been a part of in prison. I would love to take the course again and I highly recommend this group to anybody who wants to improve themselves as a human being.

First and foremost, I would like to thank you and your father for coming up with Choices for Life and bringing it to C.T. F. Taking this course has been a life-changing experience. I have been searching for a purpose for a long time now. The meaning of life as your father asked in the video I believe now that I have purpose which in turn gives my life meaning. My purpose now is making the world a better place. How I will do that is asking myself what is needed of me to improve the quality of life for family, friends and other human beings. Making that thought my first thought also being willing to invite people into my space. Truly living life, not just existing. Thank you again.

Not only did it help me, it helped my relationship with my wife and my children... and its been a ripple effect for many individuals that I've talked to about this course... [The topic of] "Learning to like the people I love, and love the people I hate." That was huge in my life... Now I choose to live life, I'm no longer angry...

I know that I made the choices to put myself in this situation and now it's for me to build and be of service to everybody.

I think everybody can benefit from this program, it's amazing.

I definitely will take a lot of the tools I've learned here, the rest of my life, whether that is in prison or out on the streets in the community.

Depression is something that I'm challenged with every day, so when I'm faced with it, it's a red flag for me that I'm getting back into myself, I need to become more selfless.

It's a constant reminder to me that change just doesn't stop today or tomorrow when I reach a certain level. It's an opportunity for change in any given moment.

This program isn't just for inmates, it's for the public as well in my opinion. It needs to to be out in society, because I think it can change a lot. It can heal society, and bring people together.
